A Tiger Named Lee is a beautiful rhyming story that my little one Darcy thoroughly enjoyed.
Lee is a little tiger cub with 2 older brothers, his brothers are brave and strong but Lee prefers to stay safe up in the tree with his mum. There are too many strange noises and scary animals for Lee.
One day something happens and Lee finds himself out of his comfort zone and having to face the strangeness and scariness of the jungle.
Filled with stunning illustrations this is a wonderful story of braveness, it shows little ones that things that they might think are scary necessarily aren’t and that it’s really ok to ask for help when you need it.
As you can probably tell by the smile on Darcy’s face, she loves this book. She loves a rhyming story and really enjoyed pointing out all the different animals within the book. It’s also come at great time, Darcy will be starting Nursery soon so it’s been good to show her that fears are normal but there always be someone there to help.
I think this has become a firm favourite and will be read many, many times.
Many thanks to Kelly at Love Books Tours and Tiny Tree Books for the gifted copy and opportunity to be on the blog tour.
