Well can you believe this is my first taste of a Debbie Macomber book? I honestly don’t know why I’ve never read any before because I very much enjoyed A Mrs Miracle Christmas.
Laurel and Zach live with Laurels grandmother Helen, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. With the couple both working full time Helen is left at home by herself most of the day so Laurel decides it’s time to call in some help. Disappointed Caring Angels have no help to offer until the new year they are surprised when a knock at the door brings Mrs Miracle who has come to help out.
Mrs Miracle is a god send and she forms a close bond with Helen making life much easier for Laurel and Helen seems to be so much better in herself since Mrs Miracles arrival, the woman is almost too good to be true.
A Mrs Miracle Christmas is filled with characters you can’t help falling in love with, especially Mrs Miracle. She’s an absolute delight and I think everyone needs a Mrs Miracle in their life.
I absolutely adored this story, hearing Laurel and Zachs story of infertility was heartbreaking but this is a beautiful story that really fills your heart with Christmas joy and I devoured this story. It’s a story that really brings a smile to your face, it’s almost like a warm cosy hug.
This is a perfect story to snuggle up with, get the fire roaring, a warm cuppa and some chocolates and you’re set but be prepared to not want to put the book down, it really pulls you in and is quite addictive.
I’ll definitely be recommending A Mrs Miracle Christmas and I hope to read more by this author very soon.
